Nicholas F Webster

Nicholas Frank Webster, 83, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 of natural causes.

He was born December 17, 1937 in Marine City to the late Arthur and Grace Webster. He married Arlene Frances Samuelson at St. Stephen Catholic Church on May 3, 1958.

Nicholas was a 1955 graduate from St. Stephen Catholic High School. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. He became a successful entrepreneur at a very young age, and the owner of Webster’s Party Store and Modern Sewer and Drain Cleaning. He was an avid sports fan and sponsored many Port Huron sports teams for over fifty years. He served as a Merchant Marine, sailed the Great Lakes, and loved caring for his flowers and gardening. He enjoyed going for long car rides with his beloved wife and viewing our beautiful Great Lakes. He was very proud of all of his grandchildren and never missed the opportunity to cheer them on.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Arlene Frances Webster; seven children, Mary Webster, Joseph (Lisa) Webster, Stephen Webster, Theresa Webster Kennedy, Wayne Webster, Elizabeth (Todd) Randall, and Rosanne (Mark) Lott; grandchildren, Melissa, Amber (Truong), Tabetha, Wayne, Miranda (Brent), Stephen, Austin, Shawna, Rachelle (Keith), Cody, Natalie (Brandyn), Chantelle, Ravin, Blake, Nicholas, and Trevor; brother, Arthur “James” Webster; brothers-in-law, Richard (LaDonna) Samuelson, Martin (Vicki) Samuelson, Robert (Gail) Samuelson; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Frances Manning; father-in-law, Oakie Gustav Andre' Samuelson; sisters, Mary Bunce and Helen Bailey; and brothers, John Webster, William Webster, and Lincoln Webster.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Wayne Webster, Stephen Webster, Austin Webster, Cody Mallery, Ravin Randall, Nicholas Webster, and Trevor Kennedy.
