Bruce D Maxwell

Bruce David Maxwell, 82, of Fort Gratiot, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

He was born July 9, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Benjamin and Margaret Maxwell. He married Janet Johnson on June 16, 1972 in Emmett.

Bruce graduated from Port Huron High School in 1957, attended St. Clair County Community College and Wayne State University. He retired from St. Clair County as a tax appraiser.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet; his daughter, Annette; daughter-in-law, Erin; and was known as Papa to his beloved grandsons, Brenden, Benjamin, Colin and Ryder. He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
