Thomas Trisch

Thomas Arthur Trisch, 81, of Avoca, died Friday, October 1, 2021.

He was born August 19, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of the late Myron and Alma Trisch. He married Karen M. Gordon on September 13, 2002 in Port Huron.

Thomas served in the United States Army. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 400. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, traveling, playing bingo, woodworking and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Lisa Trisch; twin sons, Jim and John Trisch; stepsons, Dave (Marcy) Lewandowski and Ed Lewandowski (Amanda Rennie); daughter-in-law, Melissa Lewandowski; grandchildren, Lindsay, Janell, Kendrick, Cedric, Kari, Ryan, Conner and Cooper; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Agnes (Lloyd) Demarais, Jean (Darryl) Harms and Linda Ewer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Bob Lewandowski; and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend G. Patrick Thompson will officiate.

With great appreciation, Thomas’ family would like to thank Life Skills Centers, Memory Care Services in Fort Gratiot and Tomlinson Assisted Living. The family prefers memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
