Christopher J Hernandez

Christopher Joel Hernandez, 23, of Clyde Township, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born July 1, 1999 in Detroit.

Christopher attended Port Huron High School and was employed with Pink Solar Energy. Christopher loved his car, cars and motorcycles, but he especially loved interacting with his close-knit group of friends on a daily basis. He was a fun charismatic young man, with a warm, heartfelt presence who enjoyed joking around and pranking people.

He is survived by his father, Steven (Colleen) Hernandez; mother, Kimberly Niskala; siblings, Isaiah Hernandez, Javi Hernandez, Elijah Hernandez, Anthony Niskala, Marissa Niskala, Brandon Niskala and Noah Niskala; grandparents, Mary and Jesse Hernandez and Cynthia (David) Jones; step-father, Kevin Niskala; several aunts, uncles and cousins; girlfriend, Skye Conrad; and canine companion, Yogi. He was preceded in death by his brother, Evan Hernandez.

Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Robert Chapman will officiate.
