Richard J Horvath

Richard J. Horvath, 60, of Jeddo, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born August 17, 1962 in Flint to the late Edward and Mary Lue Horvath. He married Deanne Fogal on March 22, 2002 in Port Huron.

Richard owned and operated Action Appliance for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hanging out with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deanne; children, Shelbi Hinojosa (fiancé Dan Vanbuskirk) and Michael (Erika) Coyne; four grandsons, Ayden, Gage and Brody Hinojosa and Michael Coyne; brother, Brad (Brenda) Horvath; two sisters, Kathy Kelly and Terry Scoble; three brothers-in-law, Jim (Connie) Fogal, Don (Marci) Fogal and Jeff Ludy; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Fogal and Lynette Horvath; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Horvath; and brother-in-law, Fred Fogal.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.
