George Ward Pleger, 77, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
He was born December 31, 1945 in Port Huron to the late George H. and Elizabeth I. Pleger. He married Lory J. Osborn on June 20, 1994 in Las Vegas.
George graduated from Port Huron High School and was employed with Chrysler Corporation for 37 years prior to his retirement. He loved antique cars, camping, watching the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lory; children, Natashia (Jacob) Senyk, Kimberly (Demond) Sewell, Michael Pleger and Scott Newsome; 15 grandchildren; and sister, Joanne Collingwood.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday October 16, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Elder Gary Wesch will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
