Lisa Marie Frisbie, 59, of Emmett, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 29, 1964 in Port Huron and spent her life in St. Clair County. Lisa married Brian Frisbie on September 19, 2009 and they resided in Emmett.
Lisa worked for 18 years in the St. Clair County Prosecutor’s Office before leaving to oversee office operations at her husband’s small trucking company.
Lisa was known for her kind heart, quick wit, generous spirit and love of all animals. She had a way with words that could turn any situation humorous, normally at her own expense.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Frisbie of Emmett; her stepson, Kody (Amber) Frisbie of Port Huron; grandson, Travis Frisbie; sister, Laure Buch of Port Huron; and her father Edward Buch of Marysville; as well as her in-laws and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Buch.
Lisa was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Reverend H. Thomas Kuehnemund will officiate.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Kenockee Township.
