Ryan M Hughes

Ryan Michael Hughes, 36, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Thursday, February 15, 2024.

He was born July 30, 1987 in Westland to Colleen and the late Michael Hughes.

Ryan was most known for his loving, caring, and loyal heart. He was always the first to help a friend in need, no matter the circumstance. Ryan was also known for being spontaneous and quirky at heart. He loved to bring laughter to those around him with random acts of kindness and miscellaneous adventures. His hobbies often included spending his time outdoors with family and friends surrounded by nature. He was incredibly creative and imaginative, often drawing and writing stories to entertain and share with others.

He spent his professional career as a general laborer, experiencing a wide array of skilled trades and always working with his hands. He spent much of his career working side-by-side with his best friend and brother, Sean Hughes.

He is survived by his mother, Colleen Hughes; stepfather, Tim Bobcean; siblings, Sean, Chad and Lisamarie; and half-siblings Deanna, Kim and Leann. He is now with his father, Michael Thomas Hughes, who preceded him in death.

Although his loss is tragic, the memories and laughs he gave us will forever be cherished. He was loved and will be missed dearly.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 24, 2024 in St. Mary Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.
