Lawrence Kochan

Lawrence “Big Larry” Kochan, 74, of Brown City, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

He was born April 9, 1950 in Detroit to the late Walter and Irene Kochan.

Larry’s passion was owning and working on classic cars and hot rods. He like watching NHRA and going to drag races. He also enjoyed riding his Harley back in the day.

He is survived by longtime partner, Cheryl Emerick, her son, Ronald Emerick Jr. and Ronald’s daughters, Brielle and Alison; two brothers, Rod Kochan and Walter (Alicia) Kochan; sister, Michele (Phil) Sahutske; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Kalen Kochan.

Private family services will be held.
