Joyce A Fraley

Joyce Arlene Fraley, 85, of Kimball Township, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

She was born March 14, 1939 in Detroit to the late Maynard and Alyce Bennett. She married Kenneth E. Fraley. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2007.

Faith and family were very important to her. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Secular Order of Discaled Carmelites. She enjoyed traveling to Europe on Pilgrimages. She loved family dinners, holiday celebrations and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Young-Yanez (Joe Yanez), Karen Gresell, Anne-Marie Longley, Kevin (Sarah) Fraley and Shane (Collette) Fraley; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; nephew, Jon-Paul (Martie) Cutcher; and nieces, Debbie and Jamie. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Cutcher; brother, Jay Bennett; and cousin, Patricia Gill.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Reverend H. Thomas Kuehnemund will officiate.

Burial will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Kenockee Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for masses.
