Denise Gossman

Denise Jane Gossman, 64, of Port Huron, died Thursday, February 27, 2025.

She was born March 31, 1960 in Port Huron to the late Richard and Laura Jobbitt.

Denise graduated from Port Huron Central High School. Despite life’s hardships, she was a source of love and kindness to all who knew her, including her three children. Her love of travel, creative writing and playing cards, were her favorite things to do. She especially loved bringing joy to others and making them laugh.

She is survived by her children, Kate (Byron) Clark, Maggie Gossman and Stephen Gossman; grandchildren, Lincoln and Jackson; siblings, Thomas Jobbitt, Jeannine Freedom and Renee Jobbitt; sister-in-law, Joan (Ed) Jobbitt-Kibbee; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Jobbitt; and sister-in-law, Sheila Jobbitt.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
