Donald L. Leffler, 65, of Ft. Gratiot died April 30, 2012 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born January 29, 1947 to Leo Leffler and Mina Clark. He married Linda Lapish Adams on April 11, 1969 in Port Huron.
Don was a Master Carpenter and built many beautiful custom homes in the St. Clair County area with his two sons, Joel and Matthew. He enjoyed family parties and sitting around the bonfire near his pole barn talking and telling jokes, with his dog “Dusty” at his side.
Don is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Bill Adams of Ft. Gratiot, Joel (Holly) Leffler of Jeddo, Matthew (Tammy) Leffler of Yale; daughter, Jere (Thomas) Schrader of Ft. Gratiot; seven grandchildren, Kelsey and Mitchel Schrader, Riley, Avery, Colton, Brett and Emily Leffler.
No services or visitations are scheduled.
Cremation arrangements are by Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Memorials for Don may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
