Ruth Ann Perry

Ruth Ann Perry, 92, of Port Huron, went home to be with her Lord on November 3, 2025.

She was born December 6, 1933 in Detroit, to the late William and Harriet McCarthy.

Ruth Ann graduated from Immaculate High School in 1953. She married Homer John Perry on February 10, 1962 in Detroit and they shared 35 years of marriage until his death on February 7, 1998.

Ruth Ann and Homer made their home and raised their children in Port Huron until 1989, when they retired to Florida. After Homer’s death, Ruth returned to Port Huron to be near family. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Port Huron, and enjoyed working on funeral luncheons for many years.

She is survived by 4 children, Laura (Ken) Keener, Patrick Perry, Michael Perry, and Mary Ann (Mike) Dey; 6 grandchildren, Melissa (Sean) Kivel, Cathy (Brent) Hofer, Robert John “RJ” Perry, Christina (Jimmy) Doig, Brian Dey and Jason Dey; 3 great grandchildren, Stella Ruth, Lydia and Jameson Kivel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Melissa Perry; 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Private family services have been held and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. An event to honor Ruth Ann’s life is being planned for next year at the Keener Farm.
