Janice M. Carrier

Janice Marie Carrier, 77, of Port Huron, died Saturday, January 3, 2026.

She was born on July 23, 1948 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Phyllis Carrier.

Janice was always a hard-worker, sometimes even holding two jobs at a time. She worked at the Cobblestone Bar, Faststamp Quality One, and Redall Industries in Yale. She was a member of American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8 and Blue Water Aerie 3703 F.O.E. She was also a Golden Agers member and was active with The Salvation Army, where she was a bell-ringer.

Janice was an avid bowler who played in leagues, and she enjoyed playing pool. She had fond memories of traveling up North to Glennie, Michigan. Janice had a love for animals, including her dogs, Denver, Nori, Jamie and Ricco and her current cat, Sonny.

She is survived by her siblings, Robert (Linda Lincoln) Carrier Jr., Brian (Candy) Carrier, Thomas (Amy Ingles) Carrier, Suzanne (Michael) Rose, Sharon (Jerry) Bailey and Debbie (William) Randazzo; several nieces and nephews, who she thought of as her children; and her special friend of 51 years, Helen Cowhy.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Janice’s nephew, Richard Rose, will officiate. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Fargo. Pallbearers will be Janice’s family.
