Darlene C Sheridan

Darlene Carrie Sheridan, 87, of Port Huron passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

She was born January 31, 1939 to the late Frank and Alice Cole. She married Phillip Sheridan II in 1962 and they spent 44 years together before he passed on June 14, 2006.

Darlene worked as a head cook at the evangelical home and the Harrington Inn, as a housekeeper at the Thomas Edison Inn, and as a baker at Tim Hortons when they first came to the area. She also would watch children of teachers in the area. Darlene was selfless, and always took care of others first. She enjoyed going to bingo in Canada with her siblings, meeting her family for coffee at McDonald’s, and going to the movies with her son. In the 70s, she sang and played spoons with her family band that played around Port Huron.

She is survived by her son, Ron (Tracey) Sheridan; grandchildren, Natalie and Jon; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bernita Cole, Beatrice Bates, Betty Betridge, Loretta Graham, Eugene Cole, Norman Cole, and Ronald Cole.

Private family services have been held.
