Michelle Welsh

Michelle Marie Welsh, 68, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, July 27, 2026.

She was born July 18, 1958 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Rosemarie Green. She married Keith Roland Welsh on November 5, 1983 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2026 after 42 years of marriage.

Michelle enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking. She was known for her quick wit, dark sense of humor, strong-willed personality and was never one to admit she was wrong. Above all, Michelle loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her children, Misty Carmichael, Jennifer Welsh, Tracy (Ed) Respondek, Jason French (Shielynn Sanchez) and Dominic Welsh; grandchildren, George Telegadas, Colton Respondek and Agustina French; siblings, Kari Farquhar (Dan Sims) and Robert (Deborah) Green. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Thomas Farquhar, Duane and Phil Welsh.

Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
