Jeffrey J O'Donnell

Jeffrey James O’Donnell, 77, of Kimball Township, died Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

He was born May 6, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Lawrence and Marjorie O’Donnell. He married Gayle Heidenreich on October 7, 1978 in Port Huron.

Jeffrey graduated from Sacred Heart Seminary High School in 1967 and attended St. Clair County Community College. He owned and operated the Quartermaster Shop for 48 years before his retirement in 2023. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gayle; three brothers, John, Kevin and Darrin O’Donnell; sister-in-law, Mary O’Donnell; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian; and sisters-in-law, Rose and Nancy O’Donnell.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2026 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron.
