Linda E White

Linda Elizabeth White, 76, of Port Huron, died Friday, September 18, 2026.

She was born August 4, 1950 in Port Huron, to the late Clifford and L. Jean Setter. She married Thomas Clarence White on March 17, 1989 in Port Huron. He died June 10, 2006.

Linda graduated from St. Clair County Community College and worked for 30 years at Port Huron Hospital and 15 years for Blue Water Obstetrics and Gynecology before retiring. She enjoyed cross stitch, riding her bicycle, and watching baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees.

She is survived by her children, Michael Hudy (Briana Lydon) and Elizabeth (Martin) Merchant; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Hudy; three grandchildren, Jordan Hudy, Alexis Hudy, and Victoria Merchant; brothers, Larry Setter, and Kevin (Kathy) Setter; sister-in-law, Patti Setter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Setter and sister-in-law, Renee Setter.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, September 25, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. G. Patrick Thompson will officiate.

Inurnment will be with her husband in Allied Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Port Huron.
