Dennis J. Leonard, 87, of Port Huron Twp. died July 22, 2012.
He was born March 10, 1925 in Forest, ON Canada and lived in the St. Clair and Port Huron areas since 1971.
Dennis attended Forest High School and graduated from Queens University in Ontario with a Bachelors degree. He also earned a PhD in physics and engineering from Toronto University. He was a co-owner with his brothers of the St. Clair Wilderness Campground in St. Clair, Michigan and the Indian Hills Golf Club in Forest, ON.
He is survived by his brother, Robert (Elaine) Leonard; sister-in-law, Alda Leonard; many nieces and nephews along with his feline companion, Pretty II.
Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Philip and William Leonard.
Mass of Resurrection will be 10am Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in the St. Stephen's Catholic Church with visiting from 9am at the church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Lambton, ON.
