Brandon Ambrose Ross, 82, of Kimball, died Friday, December 7, 2012 in his home.
He was born December 3, 1930 in Big Rock, TN and has lived here since 1989.
Brandon served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed plumber for many years and was a distinguished pool player who played with the best. He was a family man who loved his daughter and granddaughter very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly A. (Henry E.) Dortman of Kimball; granddaughter, Madelynn D. Mills of Avoca; step-daughter, Amy Boyea of Smiths Creek; brother, Bill (Jeanne) Ross of Dearborn Heights; brother, Dillard (Virginia) Ross of Bloomfield Hills, brother, Donald (Valerie) Ellis of Bloomfield Hills and several nieces and nephews.
Brandon was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Armstrong, Linda Spooner and his long time loving companion Dorothy Ann Mills.
Funeral services will be 2:30pm Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate. Military honor's will follow under auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Visiting hours are 11am until the service time on Monday.
Memorials in memory of Brandon may be given to the Disabled American Veterans.
