Marion Frohm
January 11th, 1919 to February 25th, 2013
Marion B. Frohm, 94, of Fort Gratiot, passed away, Monday, February 25, 2013 at Barss Residential Care Facility.
She was born January 11, 1919 in Detroit to the late Henry and Clara Koch. She married George J. Frohm on June 18, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1972 after 32 years of marriage.
Marion was an office manager at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mount Clemens and traveled throughout the United States and many foreign countries. She lived in Mount Clemens much of her life and spent winters in Green Valley, Arizona. She had resided in Fort Gratiot for the past 26 years
She is survived by her children, Robert (Donna) Frohm of Lakeport and Patricia A. Bourgois of Port Huron Township; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in a death by her brother Vincent and son-in-law, Robert L. Bourgois.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m.Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 in St. Edwards-on-the Lake Catholic Church, Lakeport with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Mount Clemens.
The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers at Barss Residential Care Facility for the outstanding care their Mother received and Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care for their exceptional care and communication.
Contributions may be made to the Mary Barss Scholarship Fund at St. Clair County Community College, Seasons Hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
