Dickee K. (Dear-Roth) DeSimone, 90, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the Blue Water Hospice House in Marysville.
Dickee was born June 22, 1923 in Minnesota.
She was raised in Ontario and graduated from high school in Toronto. She came back to the United States in 1949 with her son, David J. Dear.
She is survived by her two sons, David (Lynne) Dear and Robert Roth (Michelle Mensinger), 6 grandchildren who she loved dearly, Bill and Angie Dear of Florida, Jeff Dear of Florida, Shayne Roth of Goodells, Katie and Shane Tallmadge of Davison, Megan and Brian Maness of South Carolina and Sean and Sharla Conlan of Port Huron; son-in-law Thomas Conlan of Port Huron; and her special friend Linda Nuss and family. She was also a great grandmother to eight and great great grandmother of one. She was preceded in death by her daughter Luanne Conlan.
Dickee loved and was loved by many in her extended families. She will always be in our hearts and memories.
A celebration of her life and the life of her daughter Luanne Conlan will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld and Pastor Dan Bakay will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. in the funeral home.
