John Gryniuk

John Gryniuk, age 104, of Port Huron, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 in Evangelical Home. He was born October 14, 1901 in Broken Head, Manitoba Canada and had lived here since 1933. He married Mary Baker on October 13, 1929 in Ladywood, Manitoba Canada. She preceded him in death on January 12, 1994. John worked at Ford Motor Company in Detroit, later moving to the Yale area where he and Mary farmed for many years. They also lived in California for many years, later returning to Michigan to be near family in their retirement. He is survived by his son, Leonard Gryniuk of Hazel Park, MI; daughter, Irene (Gerald) Manns of Fort Gratiot; four grandsons, Steven Gryniuk of Riverside, CA; Christopher (Linda) Gryniuk of Riverside, CA; Scott Manns of Fort Myers, FL and Kevin (Lisa) Manns of Port Huron; six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his son David; grandson, Jon; brother, Michael and sister Mary. Following John's wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery Columbarium.
