Marguerite Perry

Marguerite K. Perry, 99, of Wilmington, NC, but formerly of Port Huron, died at her home November 10, 2006. She was born December 22, 1906 in Port Huron, daughter of the late Aime and Eleonora Tardif St. Denis, and was the widow of James E. Perry. Mrs. Perry graduated from Port Huron High School in 1925 and Providence Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. She was a life member of the League of Catholic Women and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron and St. Mark Catholic Church, Wilmington. Mrs. Perry is survived by her daughters, Lois Hanlon and husband Ray of Midlothian, VA, Judy Perry and husband Robert of Wilmington, NC, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a niece Patsy Davis and her husband Richard of Port Huron and a grand nephew Robert Watters and his wife Joy of Ft. Gratiot, MI. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visiting at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Simeon T. Iber, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. A Memorial Mass was said at St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington November 13, 2006. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 725-A Wellington Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
