William Pincomb

William E. Pincomb, 64, of Ft. Gratiot, died Friday, January 12, 2007 in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness. Bill was born September 12, 1942 in Port Huron and was a life long area resident. He married the former Mary L. Toles June 9, 1962 in St. Clair. Bill worked in construction as a roofer and sider for Tony Richards and the last 15 years he operated his own roofing and siding business. He enjoyed traveling, his cabin up north, camping and his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife, Mary, his children, William E. (Laurie) Pincomb, Jr. of Applegate, Terry (Michael) Ledsworth of Mesa, AZ, Betty (John) Bowers of Clyde, Edward Pincomb (Toni) of Ft. Gratiot, Mary (Michael) Repinski of Clyde and Lisa (Brian) Krauss of Burtchville; 15 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; his sisters, Mary Lee, Ethel, Pearl, Marlene, Nancy and Judy; his brothers, Larry and Richard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Pincomb, brother, James, Jr., sister, Sally, grandson, Nathan and daughter-in-law, Michelle. Bill's funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Elder Kirk Kramer of Wadhams Grove Community of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township. Visitation for Bill will be 2;00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
