Agnes Woodward

Agnes A. Woodward, age 81 of Port Huron, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Port Huron Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on January 9, 1926 in Port Huron daughter of the late George and Margaret (Connors) Woodward. Agnes was a nurse at Hurley Hospital in Flint for many years and was proud of it. She volunteered at Blue Water Hospice and helped others for many years. She loved her family and they loved her as well. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth J. Woodward and Mary Josephine Woodward both of Port Huron; brother, Jack H and Mary Lou Woodward and family of Bath, MI; nieces and nephews, David and Nan Perley and Mallory, Michael and Ruthann Course and family, James and Mary Kay Course and family, Rebecca and Michael Gordon and family and Tyler Morrison and family; many great nieces and nephews, many dear friends and her faithful and loving cats, Babes and Little Bit.. Agnes was preceded in death by sisters Marian L. Course, Anna Louise Ernst, Margaret Elizabeth Morrison and brother George Francis Woodward. Memorial services for Agnes will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert P. Trask, Rector of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
