Deanna Loehnis

Deanna Loehnis Avoca - Deanna Loehnis, 65, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in the University of Michigan Hospital following a short illness. She was born July 3, 1941 in Mt. Clemens. She has lived here for the past 30 years. Deanna was a devoted and loving wife who loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She loved working in the garden and on jig-saw puzzles. Deanna is survived by her husband, Edward Loehnis of Avoca; daughter, Suzanne (Bob) Donaldson of Kimball; grandchildren, Brianne and Shane; sisters, Helen (Ray) DeCosta, Joyce (Cyril) Voit and Bonnie (Rex) Fredline and brothers, Alvin (Adeline) Martin and Daryl (Margie) Martin. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard George of Blue Water Free Methodost Church will officiate. Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 Friday at the funeral home.
