Daniel Roskey

Daniel S. Roskey, 49, of Chesterfield, died unexpectedly Friday, August 17, 2007 in Mt. Clemens General Hospital. He was born September 21, 1957 in Port Huron to the late Clarence and Margaret Roskey and lived in this area until the last five years. Dan was a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School. He was employed at the Chrysler Warren Stamping Plant in skilled trades and had thirty-one years of service. He was an avid sportsman enjoying all sports especially fishing, hunting, golfing, baseball and bowling. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge #158, Port Huron. Dan is survived by his son, A1C Ryan D. Roskey, USAF, stationed in Korea. Brothers, Richard (Gail) Roskey, Ronald Roskey, both of Port Huron, Arthur (Amelia) Roskey of Clinton Twsp., Patrick (Edith) Roskey of Ft. Gratiot and Myron (Patricia) Roskey of Marysville; sisters, Marilyn Middleton, Carolyn (William) Stoner and Susanne Gurnsey, all of Port Huron, Jacquelyn Miller of Richmond, Mary Roskey and Janice (Rick) Little both of Port Huron; sister-in-law, Joan Roskey of Clyde and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, David and Melvin Roskey. His funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Rev. Howard Colby of Cross Currents Church will officiate. Visiting hours are 2 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to wishes of the family.
