Michael

Nelson Youngs, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 31,

2009.

He

was born to the late Dr. John A. Youngs and Carolyn Louise (Nelson)

Youngs on January 22, 1962. He married Carol L. Romani in February

2006. She passed away January 13, 2007.

Michael

served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 until 1988 as a medical

technician. After serving in the Air Force, he chose to go back to

school and become a registered nurse. He took pride and enjoyed his

career as an R.N.

Michael

loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved collecting

sports memorabilia and going to hockey games. He will be sadly

missed by all who loved him.

He

is survived by his most beloved children who will sadly miss their

father, Pvt. Sean Michael Youngs, U.S. Army, Dustin Alexander Youngs

and Michelle Marie Youngs; step-daughter, Brittney Romani; mother,

Carolyn L. Youngs; grandmother, Evelyn Nelson; sister, Susan A.

Keeling; brother, John Riley Youngs; niece, Carolyn A. Youngs; many

aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; special friends John Fiks and

Ronnie Vaughn and his beloved pet and friend, Sir Charles.

Funeral

services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The

Rev. Joseph Gagnon will officiate.

Visiting

hours are 10 am 12 noon & 6 -9-p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m.

Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials

may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
