Judith C Novar

August 27th, 1940 to February 19th, 2016
Judith Carole Reynolds Mix Novar, 75, of Port Huron, passed into eternal life on Friday, February 19, 2016.

She was born on August 27, 1940 in Port Huron, the fourth of five siblings, to the late Mort “Mike” and Helen Reynolds. She was married to Ronald K. Mix in 1959 and birthed three children. They divorced in 1976, and she married William Novar in 1977 - they divorced in 1990. That was enough of that crap!

Judi graduated from Port Huron High School in 1958 and was a homemaker for 17 years. She was later employed as an office manager for several companies. She enjoyed a 25 year career as a real estate broker, retiring in August of 2010 from Real Estate Masters.

Judi is survived by two children, Shelly A. (Don) Simon of Kentucky and Ronald K. Mix, II of Port Huron; six grandchildren, Scott Rucker, Amy Peart, Kristy Peart Ludaker, Sarah Simon, Tracie Mix and Jenna Mix; and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Lynch) Furtado of Oregon; son­in­law, Gerry Davis; several nieces and nephews including Randy Galbraith and her namesake Judi Fuller; brother­in­law James (Patricia) Mix; cousins, Bob (Nancy) Carse; many dear friends; special friends, Mary Walker Clark and Mary O’Connor; and “adopted” children, Randy and Tamme Jones. Preceding her into Heaven were her beloved daughter, Tracie Mix Davis, siblings, Michael Reynolds, Rosalie Riggs, Milford “Dick” Reynolds and her parents, Helen and Mort “Mike” Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Karrer­Simpson Funeral Home with visiting from 3­ 7 p.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

A private burial will take place in Caswell Cemetery at a later date.
