John W Beeler

John W. Beeler, 77, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in McLaren -Port Huron.

He was born April 25, 1939 in Port Huron to the late John M and Marie Beeler. He married Roberta M. Beedon on April 29, 1961, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair.

John retired from the Mueller Brass Company after 33 years of service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time at his cabin up north.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta; his eight children, Joseph (Michelle) Beeler, Jackie (Jeff) Devroy, Julie Beeler, Noel (Brad) Frost, Alan Beeler, Patricia (Cary) Holt, Martin Beeler and Ginger Beeler; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Diane (Marvin) Williams and Eleanor Coon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Orville Beeler and Joan McGowen.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
