Richard M. Clink, 85, of Port Huron, died Monday, February 27, 2017.

He was born August 3, 1931 to the late Lloyd and Mary Jane Clink.

Richard served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-1954 and the Naval Reserves for 18 months following his discharge. He retired from Michigan National Bank as an assistant manager and previously worked at Prestolite.

He was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan and also a Detroit sports fan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and puzzles.

Richard is survived by his wife, Karen A. Kelly; son, Rick (Tina) Clink; daughter, Kim (Tom) Stevens; sisters, M. Yvonne Aftanas and Ruth (Wayne) Stockton; brother, Lloyd (Bonnie) Clink; several nieces and nephews and his very spoiled dog, “Mitzi”.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Carmella; sisters, Joanne Holcomb, Ella Jean Heaslip and Frances Ludy.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Blue Water Free Methodist Church. Pastor Randy Bennett will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
