Roberta M Beeler

Roberta Mary Beeler, 87, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, September 5, 2026.

She was born December 13, 1938 in Lexington, Michigan. She married John W. Beeler on April 29, 1961 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2017 after 56 years of marriage.

Roberta enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and going to garage sales. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Community.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Michelle) Beeler, Jackie (Jeff) Devroy, Julie Beeler, Noel (Brad) Frost, Alan Beeler, Patricia Holt, Martin Beeler and Ginger Beeler; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Rosalie Desonia; half-brother, Daniel Beedon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alvina (Pete) Distelrath; and father, Daniel Beedon Sr.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026 in St. Mary Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
