Daniel A. Healy
Daniel A. Healy, 74, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
He was born May 28, 1942 in Detroit, to the late Joseph and Lillian Healy. He married Pam J. Kivel on January 11, 1964 in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Port Huron.
Daniel was a 1961 graduate of Yale High School and was employed as a supervisor at Eugene Welding, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #158, Fraternal Order of Eagles #3702.
He was an avid bowler, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pam J. Healy of Port Huron; his daughter, Penny (George) Duckworth of Kimball; and his son, Donald (Sonya) Healy of Port Huron; his three grandchildren, Georgie (Ashley) Duckworth, Pammie Healy and Dustin Healy; two great-grandchildren, Ava Duckworth and Jace Prigmore; his siblings, Kate Baerwolf of Yale and John (Evelyn) Healy of Zephyrhills, Florida; his sister-in-law, Janet Healy of Avoca; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and many, many “adopted” nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Healy in 2015, his sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Frank Olshove in 2000 and his brother-in-law, Eldon Baerwolf in 2008.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May, 22, 2017 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
