Linda Marie Langolf Shepherd, 59, of Port Huron Township, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011.

Linda was born in Port Huron on September 8, 1951, to parents, Andrew and Charleen Langolf.

Our loving daughter, our thoughtful, generous sister and our fun-loving friend will be missed deeply by so many.

Linda was loved by all who knew her. She always had a friendly smile and would go out of her way to stop and say hello. She was blessed with a split-second sense of humor, and was so lucky, that she earned the nickname Lucky Linda.

A sweet, friendly, warm, and caring person, Linda loved dogs and worked hard to raise funds for the Blue Water Area Humane Society. The joys of her life were her West Highland White Terriers Max, Frankie, Gino, Casey and Cassie. She also loved attending Detroit Tiger games with her brother and sister-in-law, and was a huge fan of Al Kaline.

Linda graduated from Port Huron High School in 1969 and was employed at Shell Oil Company for many years and was recently employed at All Star Vending Company.

Linda was a member of the Crazy 8 card club for over 35 years along with her sister, Charlyn. She enjoyed traveling to visit her sister, Charleen, and nieces in Traverse City. She also enjoyed her special Saturdays with her Mom.

Linda was a member of the Moose Lodge #158 and the Eagles Lodge #3702, where she shared many good times with Don and her many friends.

Linda is survived by her parents, Andrew and Charleen Langolf, of Port Huron, sister Charlyn (Ed) Breslin, of Davidson, brother Alan (Margaret) Langolf, of Marysville, sister Charleen (Rick) Jach, of Traverse City, companion Donald Livingston, of Port Huron, special friends Debbie Dunlop, and Ron Shepherd , her beloved Westie, Cassie, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, Dana Graham, Rachel and Kelly White, nephews, Lou Bowers and Brett Langolf, and many friends.
