Diane Brough

Port Huron- Diane R. Brough, 57, of Port Huron went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born September 20, 1950 in Port Huron and was a life long area resident. She married James L. Brough on November 18, 1978 in Port Huron. Diane loved animals and was employed at the Blue Water Humane Society. She was a member of L.O.O.M. #158. Diane enjoyed camping, reading and loved to play the piano and organ. She is survived by her husband, James L. Brough of Port Huron; daughters, MSgt. Lisa J. Sarmiento, USAF of Maryland; Lucretia N. Smith of Traverse City; Beverly S. (Timothy) Hubbard of Mt. Juliet, TN; son, James L. Brough, Jr of Mt. Juliet, TN; 7 grandchildren; father, Wilson J. (Virginia) McFarlane of Zephyrhills, FL; brother Dave W. (Kay) McFarlane of Cedarville, OH; step-father, Kobad Arjani of Albany, NY; sister-in-law, Sherri (Bud) Plummer of Port Huron; brother-in-law Tom (Sue) Brough of Port Huron; brother-in-law, Jeff (Mary Kay) Brough of Port Huron and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Diane was preceded in death by her mother Ruth I. Arjani and sister Janet McFarlane. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Diane may be given to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
