Robert Ballor

Fort Gratiot- A beloved husband, father and grandfather, Robert W. Ballor, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2008.

He was born May 23, 1941 in Mt. Clemens , Michigan.

Bob married Marianne C. Priemer on October 27, 1962 at St. Veronicas Church in East Detroit.

He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and retired from D.T.E. after many years of employment.

Bob will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Marianne; daughters, Michelle C. Ballor of Port Huron and Karen M. Ballor and fiance Tom Ashwell of Fort Gratiot; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Kathryn Foucha; brothers, Jim (Bev) Ballor of Maryland and Joe (Angie) Ballor of Royal Oak; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many dear friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Mary Ballor-Oravec, and step-father Frank Oravec

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Marys Catholic Church. The Rev. Simeon T. Iber will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. A scripture service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
