Michelle Westphal

Michelle Lynn Westphal, 33, died Saturday, April 26, 2008 in Mercy Hospital following a short illness.

She was born May 21, 1974 in Port Huron. She married Scott D. Westphal on June 14, 1997 in Port Huron.

Michelle loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed

collecting shells on the beach. She was a loving wife and mother and

will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband Scott; daughters, Caitlyn Snyder,

Ellie Westphal; son, Scott Westphal, Jr.; mother, LeeAnn Snyder (Gary

Breckon); father, Ken (Mary) Snyder; siblings, Scott (Debbie) Snyder,

Brian Watson, Ken Snyder Jr and Tyler Snyder; step-brothers, Tim,

Ronald and Michael Hogsett; step-sisters, Patti Walters and Jamie

Hogsett; grandmother, Mary Watson (Eulalio Briones); brother-in-laws

and sister-in-laws, Larry (Dana) , Michael, Steve (Amy) and Jeffrey

(Mary Ann); mother-in-law, Barbara Westphal; special friends, Ruth and

John Atkinson and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Westphal,

Sr: mother-in-law, Sharlene Kay Westphal and Grandmother and

Grandfather Snyder.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson

Funeral Home. The Rev. Barbara E. Welbaum of Marysville United

Methodist Church will officiate. Burial of ashes will be in Lakeside

Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
