Mary Frances Klarer

Mary Frances Klarer, 91, of Spring Hill, FL formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Oakwood Hospital in Taylor, following a short illness. She was born April 25, 1917 in Saginaw to the late Richard and Frances (Baker) Campbell. She married Paul E. Klarer in May of 1942. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1991. Her second husband, Ernie Byczkowski also preceded her in death on September 20, 2003. Mary was a 1935 graduate of St. Theresas High School in Detroit. She was formerly employed by the city of Marysville as Treasurer for 11 years and also attended St. Christophers Church. Mary was a loving and graceful woman with a positive attitude. She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. (John) Przybyla of Dearborn Heights; daughter, Judith Ann Klarer of Troy; son John Michael (Karen) Klarer of Makanda, IL; son, Paul R. (Teresa) Klarer of Ramona, CA; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Klarer; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Stephens Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph M. Esper will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials in memory of Mary may be made to the American Lung Association.
