Dorothy Theresa Dort Conroy, 81,

passed away peacefully surrounded by her family following a brief

illness.

She was born July 14, 1927 in Port

Huron daughter of the late Alexander Jacob and Theresa (Rose) Eifert.

She married Robert Francis Conroy

on April 21, 1951 in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Dorothy was an avid golfer at the

Elk's Club and played in several tournaments at Black River Country

Club. She was a member of Mercy Hospital Auxiliary Club and

volunteered for over 20 years while also running the gift shop.

Dorothy was a member of the Port Huron Yacht Club and enjoyed

interior decorating, fashion design and socializing with her family

and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband,

Robert Francis Conroy; daughters, Kimberly S. (Kenton) Bolt and

Kelley L. (Stephen Gus) Bringard; sons, Timothy R. (Teresa)

Conroy and Todd Conroy; grandchildren Brandon and Cayce Bolt;

brothers, James (Eleanor) Eifert and Robert Pal (Dorothy)

Eifert; sister, Sue (Dave) Atfield and several nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Bess.

Dorothy was preceded in death by

her parents and brother Alexander Jacob Jr Eifert.

Mass of Resurrection will be 1:00

pm. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian K.

Cokonougher, Pastor will officiate. Following Dorothy's wishes

cremation will take place.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 6-9

pm. today in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A scripture service

will be held at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are

requested to the Michigan Humane Society or the Blue Water Area

Humane Society.
