Alice May Urban, 96, of Port Huron,

died Sunday, September 21, 2008 in Marwood Nursing & Rehab

following a short illness.

She was born July 17, 1912 in

Sanilac County, Michigan and has lived here for the past 4

years.

Alice enjoyed crocheting, quilting

and going shopping.

She is survived by her daughters,

Frankey Lou Westmoreland of Bridgeport, AL; Jeanne (Philip) Wurtz of

Topeka, KS; Rosalee Gutierrez of Chattanooga, TN and Eileen Bodah of

Scottsboro, AL; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great

great-grandchildren and special niece and nephew Joan Tootie

and Larry Urban of Port Huron.

She was preceded in death by her

parents, Alfred and Dollie May Hand; son, Richard Nelson Urban;

daughters, Marilyn Urban and Caroline Appel; niece, Leslie Appel and

nephew Andy Appel.

Funeral services will be 11 am

Thursday in Lakeside Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. John Cummins will

officiate.

Visiting hours are 10 am until

service time Thursday in the chapel.

Memorials in memory of Alice may

be given to the Old News Boys or the Council on Aging.
