James E. McMullin, 77, of St. Clair

died Thursday, October 9, 2008 in Port Huron Hospital.

He was born July 8, 1931 in

Burnside, KY. and has lived in the area since 1986.

James married the former Sylvia

Fabec on March 30, 1954 in Burnside, KY.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a

Seabee during the Korean Conflict. James retired in 1998 from

Chrysler Corporation in Marysville and was also a foster parent for

abused children for 6 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved

spending time with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife

Sylvia of St. Clair; daughters, Beverly (Doug) Wilson of Lakeport and

Rita (Doug) Merchant of Union, KY; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Adele)

Bell, Ryan Bell, Eric (Joleen) Bell, Austin Merchant and Mara

Merchant; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Emmalene (Paris) Hutton of

Tateville, KY; brother, William (Ann) McMullin of Lincoln Park and

sister, Dolly (Milford) Murphy of Tateville, KY.

Memorial services will be held at

the Grace Ministry Center, Kimball at a later date.
