Norma

L. Doan, 76, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in

Zephyrhills, FL.

She

was born October 4, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Harry and Pauline

Bubel. She married Kenneth L. Doan on August 19, 1950 in Angola, IN.

Norma

was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired with

over 25 years of service. She was a graduate of Marysville High

School and was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 99 for over

45 years.

She

is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Doan of Kimball; her children,

Sharon (Mark) Armstrong of Gainseville, GA, Steven (Consuelo) Doan of

Sunrise, FL, Sue Brewer of Virginia Beach, VA, Scott (Carrie) Doan of

Miami, FL and Synde (Steve) Stager of Port Huron Twp.; 9

grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Dale (Betty) Bubel of

Port Huron; sisters, Wanda (John) Conklin of Saginaw, Betty (Bob)

Storey of Burch Run and Connie Jager of Port Huron and several nieces

and nephews.

She

is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosalie Flint.

Funeral

services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church.

The Rev. David Gladstone will officiate. Burial will be in Caswell

Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Visiting

hours are 1-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home

and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the service time at church.

Memorials

may be made to the Salvation Army or Mooseheart.
