June Bialy Colwell, 91, passed away on

February 28, 2009 at the Sanctuary at Mercy Village in Fort Gratiot,

Michigan. She was born on May 1, 1917 in Bay City, Michigan.

June graduated from Michigan State

University in 1938 and was a loyal fan throughout her lifetime.

June was an educator, committed volunteer and enjoyed traveling,

quilting, sewing and her home on Lake Huron. June was a dedicated

member and deacon of her church, Lakeshore Presbyterian Church in

Fort Gratiot.

June is survived by her sister,

Winifred Young of Bay City, Michigan; her stepchildren, Doug Colwell

of Birmingham, Michigan; Sarah Chapman of Lansing, Michigan; Helen

Peters of Rochester, Michigan and Cathy Olson of Ypsilanti, Michigan;

thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and many other

dear friends and relatives.

A memorial service will be held on

April 25, 2009 at 11:00 am in Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, 5235

Lakeshore Road, Fort Gratiot, Michigan 48059.
