Theresa A. Delano, 90 died Friday,

April 17, 2009 in Port Huron Hospital Emergency Room.

She was born April 19, 1918 in

Washburn, WI and has lived her since 1958.

Theresa married Alvin D. Delano.

He preceded her in death on August 21, 1981.

She was a long time member of St.

Christopher Church where she served on the Rosary Altar Society and

most recently attended St. Stephen Church. Theresa volunteered at

various organization for many years and enjoyed bowling, sewing and

crafts. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Theresa is survived by her son,

Dennis Delano of Iron Mountain; daughters, Theresa Brown of Au Gres,

MI and Mary Patrick of Port Huron; son, Donald (Tong) Delano of Port

Huron; daughters, Jeanette Maertens of St. Clair, Renee (Rick) Force

of Lawrence, KS and Beverly (Paul) Owens of Columbus; 34

grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 2 great

great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her

son, Gerald E. Delano; 3 grandchildren, son-in-law Herb Brown and 4

sisters.

Funeral services will be 10am

Tuesday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt.

Hope Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9pm

Sunday and Monday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9am Tuesday

at the church. A rosary will be recited 7 pm Monday evening.

Her grandsons will serve as her

pallbearers.

Memorials may be given to St.

Stephen's Catholic Church or Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission.
