Thomas E. Glenn, 84, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
He was born November 27, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Thomas A. and Myrtle Glenn. He married Lola M. Solomon on August 12, 1952 in Port Huron.
Thomas served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a retired construction worker.
Mr. Glenn coached minor youth hockey, and was a supporter of the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking and birdwatching.
He is survived by his wife, Lola M.; a daughter, Deborah L. (William) Studer; three sons, Timothy (Tamara) Glenn, David (Wendy) Glenn, and William Glenn; seven grandchildren, Nancy (Ethan) Barden, Stacy (Mike) Watson, Philip, Corey, Justin, Becca and Jonathan Glenn; and brother, Owen Glenn. He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas E. Glenn, Jr. and Robert J. Glenn, a daughter-in-law, Tracy Glenn, two sisters, Marjie Anthony and Mildred Hillman, and a brother, James Glenn. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 12 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation starting at 2 p.m. until the time of service. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or the Disabled American Veterans.
