Charles Peter Roche, 93, of Clyde Township, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in his home.
He was born July 31, 1921 in Port Huron to the late Charles F. and Lena A. Roche. He married Edna Marie Boyack on September 8, 1941 in St. Stephen Rectory, Port Huron. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2013.
Charles was employed at Mueller Brass Company for 43 years, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed working in his yard and bowling.
He is survived by his son, David C. (Carol) Roche; two daughters, Ann Marie (Jim) Foerster and Marsha L. (Michael) Manchester; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph C. Biernasz and siblings, Richard and Frederick Roche and Mary O’Neil.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, in St. Mary Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
