Ronald E Loxton
Ronald Edward Loxton, 54, of Port Huron, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, August 30, 2015.
He was born April 26, 1961 in Port Huron and had been a life-long area resident. He married Robin L. Chapman on April 30, 1999 in Port Huron.
Ronald was a 1979 graduate of Port Huron High School and was a sheet metal worker with local 80 for many years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 3702, honorary member of American Legion Charles Hammond Post 8 and loved cooking, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Robin L. Loxton; son, David (Ashley) Chapman-Loxton; daughters, Christina (Todd) Johnson and Angela (Jon) Essenmacher; son, Robert Loxton and daughter, Daytonn Chapman-Loxton; 12 grandchildren; sister, Clara (Kevin) VanZandt; brother, Jeffrey (DeeAnn) Loxton; sisters, Rose Loxton and fiancé Ron Neumayer, Rhonda Beals and Michelle (Ron) Hobson; several nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Hemi. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delphine F. Holzberger-Loxton; his father and step-mother, Donald (Sylvia) Loxton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Chapman-Loxton, Robert Loxton, Dennis Stark, Matt Loxton, Jamie Stark, Anthony Micallef, Jeff Loxton Jr and Bryan Rawling.
