Mary Kathleen Debien, 77, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Sunday, September 13, 2015 in Blue Water Hospice Home in Marysville.
Mary was born August 29, 1938 in Royal Oak, Michigan to the late William and Mary Parr. She married Robert D. Debien on September 30, 1958 in Croswell. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1995.
Mrs. Debien was a graduate of Croswell High School and attended Central Michigan University. She was employed at Mary Maxim for many years retiring in 1998. She was a lady who never said “no” and loved her family very much.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (William) Wallace and Kelly (William) Cassin; son, Robert J. Debien and daughter, Karen (Christopher) Roberts; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and brother, Richard (Patricia) Parr. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael P. Debien.
Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 pm Thursday evening.
Mass of Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church with visiting from 10 a.m. until the service time. The Reverend Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ethan and Colin Wallace, Jeremy Cassin, Christopher Roberts, William Cassin and Rick Parr.
Memorials may be given to the Blue Water Hospice Home.
