Kenneth L. Doan age 79, of Smiths Creek

died Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Port Huron Hospital.

He was born July 21, 1929 in Mt.

Clemens and has lived here most of his life.

He married Norma L. Bubel on

August 19, 1950 in Angola, In. She preceded him in death on January

11, 2009.

Kenneth retired in 1994 from

Chrysler Corporation in Marysville after 26 years. He was a member

of L.O.O.M. #158 for over 42 years and enjoyed vintage Studebakers.

He is survived by children, Sharon

(Mark) Armstrong of Gainseville, GA; Steven (Consuelo) Doan of

Sunrise, FL; Sue Brewer of Virginia Beach, VA; Scott (Carrie) Doan of

Miami, FL; Synde (Steve) Stager of Port Huron Twp; 9 grandchildren

and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 pm.

Monday in First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Alicea Williams,

Deacon will officiate. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9

pm. Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 1:30 pm. Monday at

the church.

Memorials may be given to the

Salvation Army or Mooseheart.
